The Ivation Window AC Support Bracket solves this without a single trip outside - the entire bracket adjusts, locks, and installs from inside your home.

A new locking pin and clip system holds the adjustable extension beams exactly where you set them, delivering a more secure, rattle-free fit than traditional spring-button AC brackets. All locking hardware - pins, clips, and screws - comes included, so there’s nothing extra to buy.

The heavy-duty epoxy-coated steel frame supports window AC units up to 200 lbs, with two adjustable support legs and two extension beams that spread the load evenly across the window opening. Extension beams adjust from 25 to 38 inches wide and accommodate exterior wall thicknesses from 4 to 11 inches, fitting most standard single and double hung windows. This bracket is not compatible with slider, crank-out, or casement windows.

Anti-slip tape on the central bracket keeps your air conditioner from shifting once it’s set, and foot pads on the support legs protect your window sill and exterior wall from marks. The bracket also angles slightly downward toward the exterior, so rainwater and condensation drain outside instead of back into your home.
